Two fiber antennas,
back in the control room.
The AFR-200 is a dual-channel Radio-over-Fiber receiver in 1U rack format. It demodulates the optical signal received from an AFB-250 (placed at the antenna end) and delivers two 50 Ω BNCs ready to feed a splitter or pro wireless receiver. Universal 110–220 V mains power. Made in France.

The standard pair with AFB-250
One AFB-250 at the antenna end, one AFR-200 in the control room, one OpticalCon Duo cord between them: the reference setup for pro broadcast RF fiber offset.

Universal mains power
Universal 110–220 V: the AFR-200 moves from a French control room to a North American studio with no power brick or adapter, IEC plug straight in.

Use cases
Broadcast / on-location
Bring back two remote antennas to the control room
AFB-250 in the grid, monomode fiber back to the control room, AFR-200 in 1U: two BNCs ready for your active splitter. The canonical RoF chain for broadcast.
Fixed installation
Fit out a permanent shooting studio
Rooftop antennas + AFB-250 + fiber drop + AFR-200 in the tech rack: one-shot cabling for a decade, zero maintenance, zero length-related degradation.
Retrofitting an existing rack
Replace 50 m of coax with fiber without redoing the rack
The AFR-200 takes the place of an existing coax splitter or coupler. The two output BNCs feed exactly the same input as the cable they replace. Nothing else to touch.
