A small noise generator,
full RF diagnostics in seconds.
The NS-1 is a 100–1500 MHz white noise source powered through DC-feed on a single BNC. Paired with the scan mode of an HF receiver or an SDR, it lets you map a band, measure cable loss, check a filter or validate a DC feed — without breaking out the spectrum analyzer. Made in France.

Highlights
White noise 100–1500 MHz
Flat spectral density within ±0.5 dB across the full band, no spurs, no peaks. Exactly what you need to map a filter, a cable or a full RF chain.
100 → 1500 MHz · ±0.5 dB
Powered by DC-feed
One BNC for everything. Plug the NS-1 in place of an antenna, enable DC feed on your receiver or splitter, and the generator wakes up.
10–18 V · 100 mA · 1 BNC
Analyzer + tracking, minimalist
Paired with the scan mode of an HF receiver or an SDR, the NS-1 turns your rack into a spectrum analyzer with tracking generator: band profile, cable loss, filter response.
Scan + NS-1 = tracking gen
Seconds to test
Cable loss, filter coherence, DC-feed state, antenna presence: four diagnostics, one NS-1, one scan. Without unpacking the spectrum analyzer.

Built for the real field
One active component, one BNC, one housing. Nothing to adjust, nothing to calibrate, nothing to restart. The NS-1 does one thing and has been doing it well since 2022.

Use cases
Sound pre-production
Validate an HF chain before a shoot
Before hitting the set, connect the NS-1 at the end of the chain and run a receiver scan: you instantly read the usable band, filter notches, global cable loss. Five minutes, zero surprise on the day.
Broadcast / diagnostics
Hunt down an unexplained level drop
A channel dropping out? Insert the NS-1 at different points of the chain, compare the profiles. A good link has a flat response; a bad one has a bump or a notch. Localisation in a handful of connections.
Education
Show a filter's effect in real time
A flat noise generator, a receiver in scan, an FA-1 filter in between: the filter profile appears on screen like on a network analyzer. Educational, visual, no metrology gear required.
